Karen Dantone are a husband and wife team dedicated to creating art
from
the heart.
Art does not imitate life or vice versa. They are of the
same chord, and each are an integral part of the other. In making a
long story concise, our art reflects the way we live our
lives...simply, naturally and full of love.
We are profoundly effected by our surroundings. The benefit of color is
that it offers a sense of harmony. Whether soft, rich or bold, our
homes are of primary importance, as this is where one truly relaxes. It
should be inviting and make all who enter comfortable. These same
feelings should also be reflected in one's workplace. Our work studies
nature with its variations of color and texture.
Our Organic artworks are stretched canvas paintings, hand crafted from
beginning to end, using only organic canvas and toxin-free paints. They
are completely free of Volatile Organic Compounds commonly known as
VOC's. We're excited about this as it opens doors for people who are
chemically sensitive and also for those who want to live in a less
toxic environment. These paintings have been a labor of love.
